Founder Veer and her indispensable right hand, Nora Habibi, seized the opportunity as they delved into the fairy-tale maze of streets and stalls. The result? A creative adventure full of surprises, unique encounters, laughter, but above all: a stunning fashion shoot for Lalouni the Label.

If you've never been to the Medina, imagine a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with artisan stalls and the delightful aroma of spices. The explosion of colors is overwhelming, and the famous Jemaa El Fna square is an absolute must-visit.

The Medina served as the decor for the final shoot day of Lalouni the Label in Morocco, where Veer and Nora embraced the challenge of capturing product photos of the fashion brand's bikinis, swimsuits, and trousers. To maintain the modest mindset on the website, these items were not shot on a model during the other shoot days. However, leaving these must-have items behind was out of the question.

Modest in Marrakesh

The duo's mission was loud and clear: capturing the breathtaking collection of bikinis, swimsuits and trousers, in a way that would keep the website modest but still showcase Lalouni the Label's full support for the mix of burkinis and bikinis. The Medina provided the perfect backdrop for this unique goal.

Mannequin from the Medina

The creative process led Veer to the idea of placing a mannequin amidst a long line of taxis. But, try finding a mannequin in the narrow alleys of the Medina. It marked the beginning of a hilarious and chaotic quest.

After visiting five shops, the duo struck double luck, as they not only found a mannequin but also a man willing to voluntarily carry the mannequin from location to location. It just goes to show: determination pays off. The streets of Marrakesh became the catwalk, and the result was nothing short of stunning.

Merci, Magical Morroco

After all the efforts, there it was - the end result: a blend of fantastic product photos and a mannequin shining in the middle of the bustling chaos of the Medina. The combination of the traditional Moroccan setting and contemporary modest fashion created images that are not only visually appealing, but also tell a powerful story.

This last day in Morocco for Lalouni the Label was much more than just a photoshoot. It was a celebration of diversity, creativity and the beauty of different cultures. Marrakesh, the Medina, and modest fashion came together for a day to be remembered.
